Low-despicable
LVMH vs Tiffany
Looks like the largest luxury deal of the year has just become the most followed lawsuit. Let us recap. Remember that the luxury giant had proposed to the iconic jeweler of the robin’s egg blue box worth $16bln? Nine months later we would aspect a sweet (acquisition) announcement and yet here comes the divorce. Tiffany sued LVMH in Delaware Chancery Court last week after LVMH said it was dropping the deal… we’ll keep you updated, but it seems that for now Arnault would continue doing breakfast at Starbucks.
The Armenian beauty
Minding its own business will never be trendier and yet people seem to be so out-of-fashion! And I’m referring to the most-discussed topic of the month. You know what I’m talking about… The Gucci choice of hiring Armine Harutyunyan for its Beauty campaign. The model symbol of new canons of beauty has immediately been hit by hate. And as Carrie would say, I couldn’t help but wonder, in a society continuously launching body positivity messages how possibly isn’t beauty in the eye of the beholder yet?

Fashion EarPods
How many times have you said no to a gorgeous pair of earrings because you had to wear your AirPods? Suhani Pareck, designer and founder of Misho may have the perfect antidote to this problem: say hello to the Pebble Pods. Created with the idea of holding your AirPods in place, these très chic gold earrings are available in three versions. Listening to your favorite music doesn’t match your outfit?! Let’s Make it fashion!
A Karl is born
Kim Jones has been appointed artistic director of Fendi woman alongside his career as creative director at Dior Homme. Jones has defined the opportunity to work across these two prestigious houses a true honor. Could he be the artistic heir of Karl Lagerfeld in addition to already being his successor? Looks like he is following his steps but it won’t be easy (to be) in Lagerfeld’s shoes.
A catwalk toward normality
If you have watched all the Autumn/Winter 20-21 shows on streaming, the worst is in the past, because as a new fashion period starts, new surprises follow!
And -drumrolls- Milan Fashion Week will be the first phygital edition. No, it’s not a typo. From the 22nd to 28th September, 23 physical runways among which we find D&G, Alberta Ferretti, Versace and Etro will be dedicated to Spring/Summer 21-22 Woman collections and, for the first time to menswear too. At the same time, 41 shows will be online, with the Armani’s runway in prime time in television. Spoiler: it is already our favorite film!
