Tod’s presentation: an expression of Italian patronage.

Imagine you are in front of a gate. Imagine you pass through this gate and walk on the gravel along a path surrounded by grass and trees. Then, you see a marvellous garden, a peaceful environment with a pool in the middle. You walk up the steps of the entrance.

Hickory and rosewood shine in all their warming cosiness in this art deco space. You turn left. You find yourself in a library, characterised by a stucco ceiling and diamond shaped decorations. You pass through it and arrive in a winter garden, featuring a travertine, green marble floors and glass walls. You go back to the entrance, cross the eighteen century inspired hall and find a small living room, dominated by a renaissance fireplace. Finally, you enter a dining room with walls covered by parchment and astrological motifs in stucco.

All around, you can admire the stands showing the latest Tod’s collection. Fine leather, both smooth and rough, and colourful fur, adorning loafers, shoes, boots and jackets are featured. A collection representative of Tod’s style: a mix of tradition and Italian know how, but also of innovation and modernity.

Therefore, your eyes are satisfied, your hands are satiated. What else? Come on, you cannot even think of being in Italy and enjoying anything without some food and a good glass of wine! So please, try some of the snacks, and chat with Mr. Della Valle at the pool side while tasting a flute of Ca’ del Bosco.

It was in one of the most beautiful places in Milan, Villa Necchi Campiglio, that one of the most deeply-rooted brands in Italian culture held the presentation of its new collection. Three hours of pure Italian patronage, gathering together the most heart-felt features of the Italian soul: love of art, architecture, fashion, food, wine and beauty.
