• Etro’s Search For Poets

Not long ago Etro came up with an outstanding new initiative. The project is named “The circle of poets” and it aims at attracting young enthusiasts focused on creative spheres. Everything is done via the website. Anyone can submit any creative work; all the works will be looked at and evaluated within the company, the best of the best authors will get the chance to develop special projects in collaboration with the brand. Etro creates a platform where creativity flourishes, where freedom of thought nurtures fresh ideas, where young people, if they have something to say, are given the floor. • 5 Things You Didn’t Know About Vaniday.

When I moved to Milan, I strove for finding a decent beauty salon at a student-pocket price. Moreover, when I detected the one I perceived as a good trade-off, getting a slot in their appointments agenda seemed incredibly hard. Some weeks ago, I decided to download Vaniday, the new booking service for wellness and beauty services, and this is what I found out.

  • Decoded Fashion

This time last week some of the BS4F members and I were fortunate enough to be invited to attend Decoded Fashion, a two day long conference focusingon digital and technological advances in the fashion world. For me, someone coming from the fashion world and having no prior knowledge of digital…

And both reactions are completely understandable. Previous owners of Balmain pieces should be annoyed that others are getting Balmain products for cheaper, and that the luxury value of Balmain clothing decreases.

  • Fashion Garden @10 Corso Como

The creator of this incredible place is Carla Sozzani,  sister of the director of Vogue Italia and fashion publisher, who decided to leave the magazine world to pursue a career as an art gallery owner. She started her project in 1991 when she found a big garage at number 10 Corso Como, a then-notsofashionable district of Milan. As I just said the heart of the idea was an art gallery, but 10 Corso Como quickly became much more than that: now it’s a multifunctional space featuring an amazing shop, a cafeteria, a restaurant,…
