Suki Waterhouse entered the world of buzzy British girls– hitting all the important notes, from sitting front row at Burberry to being photographed for big campaigns regularly. But the runway model has her sights set on getting into the fashion biz for herself, launching an accessories line with her best friend Poppy Jamie with accessible prices and girly disposition. Their Fall 2016 line comprises the two key bag shapes (a camera and tote) affixed with their various sweeteners: “Best Friend” heart tags, clip-on leather tassels, and initial-bearing key chains. As Pop&Suki’s new candy-washed lookbook confirms, their collection is a hit of sugar on top of modernized design for a cheeky-chic effect.

“Our obsession with pastel comes through, I think?” jokes Jamie. The pastels convey a clean and minimal style of femininity. ,” We were really inspired by vintage shopping and scrolling through Pinterest.”

There are 17 pieces in total, personalization being a key focus for the designers, creating as of eight personifications. The true standouts are the girls’ own IT bags though. Manufactured in downtown L.A, are bound to be seen everywhere soon, Cara Delivigne being one of the firsts carrying the camera shaped bag all summer long.

For the two friends, the tables have turned: they’re both happy to take a turn behind the scenes, directing shoots and developing the line. “We were adamant that our range would be customizable so that everyone can stamp their own identity on their pieces,” Jamie agrees. And with prices starting at just $25, their fans are bound to buy into the fun.
