Traveling is a common hobby during all the year, but on holidays the number of people travelling increases exponentially. In Christmas time a lot of people travel around different areas of the world. The majority prefer to go to the mountains to celebrate Christmas or New Year’s Eve skiing, snowboarding and enjoying shopping with snow. In Italy, there are a lot of places to go to the mountains, some are exclusive locations such as Cortina d’Ampezzo, Madonna di Campiglio, Courmayeur where it is possible to find a wide range of boutiques. A lot of fashion brands project special events during Christmas time to attire tourists to go shopping. For example, on last Saturday the Italian brand Twin Set by Simona Barbieri launched “I CUORI DI TWINSET BY KORFF” a series of three creamy lipsticks in partnership with the beauty and cosmetics brand KORFF. The event launch was held in Cortina d’Ampezzo with the presence of two well-known Italian influencers Paola Turani and Ludovica Frasca. Despite the products were announced and available for sale from the mid of September, this was a strategic moment to officially launch the products, to sponsor them during the period of Christmas gifts.

Another well-known mountain destination is Livigno, an Italian city located in Lombardia. Beside its beauty and ski slopes, it is so famous because of its duty-free, this means that every product acquired there is paid with a discount of 22% (this is the amount of tax that shoppers have to pay on every product in Italy). However, every tourist has a limit on shopping, nobody can acquire for more than 300 euros and this is verified during the passage at the Customs.

A lot of people like enjoying Christmas vacation in big cities, the major destinations are London and Paris, in Europe and New York, in general, is one of the most required location all over the world. These cities are adorned with Christmas lights and decorations. This year New York City is expected to have 6 millions visitors between the Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. Furthermore, for people who do not like to remain in the same place for a long time, the best solution is the cruise where in one or two weeks you have the possibility to visit different places.
